I have been getting up close with nature through photography for years. I find inspiration by trying to view the everyday from unusual perspectives. Most of my photos focus on unique natural images found in the local area, although I love to explore the gardens and trails of cities I visit when away from home.
Looking through the camera's viewfinder takes me to a place of peace and excitement. I am pleased to share my passion for photography and nature with you through my pictures, cards and more. I hope my photos bring you as much joy as I got taking them!
I live on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, with my partner, our dog, and two cats. I hold a PhD in Education from the University of Victoria. My research incorporated photography, teen girls' identity, and critical feminist theory.
I spend my non-photography time spinning fibre into yarn, crocheting, and knitting.
